This breakout session co-hosted by Hawai‘i Green Growth Local2030 Hub, will showcase how island-to-island partnership and models such as Hawai‘i’s Aloha+ Challenge can drive global commitment to the SDGs and climate action, and support COVID-19 response and recovery. It will also discuss how islands are innovating around globally relevant resilience and climate adaptation solutions.

Kate is a passionate advocate for islands who is a valued and trusted international partnership and collaboration leader. She has previously served for the Pacific Regional Environment Programme and Agriculture Western Australia. While Kate is originally from New Zealand, she also lived in Apia, Samoa for 8 years.
