Liquor Commission Meeting

NOTICE OF CHANGE IN MEETING VENUE-DUE TO THE IRONMAN TRIATHLON IN KONA:  
THE LIQUOR COMMISSIONG MEETING SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2022 @ 10:00 AM,
TO BE HELD IN KONA AT THE KONA COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WEST HAWAI‘I CIVIC CENTER,
HAS CHANGED IT’S MEETING VENUE TO HILO:  
MEETING ROOM, DEPARTMENT OF LIQUOR CONTROL, HILO LAGOON CENTRE, 101 AUPUNI STREET, UNIT 230, HILO, HAWAI‘I

Meeting duration is approximate. 

Members of the public attending in person are strongly encouraged to face mask, physical distance, and sanitize upon entry, pursuant to Mayor Roth's "Mindful Masking" Press Release, and Civil Defense guidance, County of Hawai‘i Coronavirus Best Practices, Living with Coronavirus in Our Community

Commission Members will participate in person, via Zoom, or by teleconference.  
Public Testimony may be done in person, virtually via Zoom, or in writing by email, fax, or mail. 

To register for Zoom, email request to:  cohdlc@hawaiicounty.gov by 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the meeting with the following information:

  • Name
  • Title
  • Organization
  • Cell / Email
  • Purpose (Observe, Protest, or Testify)
  • Agenda item submitting for protest or testimony

To ensure timely delivery to the Commission, written testimony must be received by 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the meeting by:  

  1. Email:  cohdlc@hawaiicounty.gov
  2. Fax:  (808) 961-8684;  OR
  3. Mail:  Department of Liquor Control, 101 Aupuni Street, Unit 230, Hilo, HI 96720. 

Indicate agenda item submitting for; submit separate testimony for each item.  All written testimony regardless of time of receipt will be part of the permanent record.

Anyone requiring auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, contact the Department of Liquor Control by phone at (808) 961-8218 or by email to cohdlc@hawaiicounty.gov  as soon as possible, preferably by September 29, 2022. If a response is received after September 29, 2022, we will try to obtain the auxiliary aid/service or accommodation, but we cannot guarantee that the request will be fulfilled.
