Director: Gerald Takase

Gerald is a proud graduate of Hilo High School, Willamette University and the University of Hawai‘i School of Law. He has previously served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, Deputy and Assistant Corporation Counsel, Deputy Director of Public Works, and since 2011 is the Director of Liquor Control. Gerald is also a retired Army Colonel where he served as the Staff Judge Advocate for the Hawai‘i Army National Guard.
