Description: Promotes public service and the merit system principle in attracting qualified applicants for County civil service vacancies. The division oversees and administers the recruitment and examination program for the County of Hawai`i and provides guidance and technical assistance to departments in the filling of their civil service positions. The division also serves as liaison between the central human resource agency and educational, employment and other community agencies to promote the available employment opportunities in the County of Hawai`i.
