The Department of Parks and Recreation has scheduled its 2023 Track & Field program for February 4 & 18, at both East and West Hawaiʻi sites simultaneously. The Konawaena High School Track Oval will be utilized for the West Hawaiʻi meets, while the site for the East Hawaiʻi meets will be at the Waiakea High Stadium.
February 4, 2023 will be for the Age Group track & field meets. Both meets will start at 9:00AM, with a Coach’s meeting at 8:30AM. Only 10’ X 10’ Canopy tents will be allowed. The Exponent track & field meet will be held on February 18, 2023. With the use of both sites, it allows the department to conduct both track and field events on the same day.
ENTRY FORMS ARE TO BE TURNED IN JANUARY 20 FOR THE FEBRUARY 4 MEET AND ON FEBRUARY 3 FOR THE FEBRUARY 18 MEET. IF YOU MISS THE DEADLINE YOU WILL HAVE TO REGISTER YOUR TEAM INDIVIDUALLY ON THE MORNING OF THE MEET. BE SURE TO ARRIVE AT LEAST 1 HR. PRIOR TO THE START OF THE MEET.
