Request for Proposals
Starting May 1, 2024, the OHCD will accept proposals for the AHP Program from eligible non-profit and for-profit organizations, public agencies, and community land trusts. These proposals shall address the program's objectives to support, increase, and sustain affordable rental and owner-occupied housing production in the County.
Proposals will be accepted electronically only through an online application platform that will be available on May 1, 2024, and will close at 4:30 p.m. HST on July 1, 2024.

Informational Meetings
The OHCD held two (2) informational meetings on May 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., and May 17, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., to provide further insights into the program, submission process and to answer any questions. Organizations considering proposal submissions are highly encouraged to watch the recording and to view responses to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). This will help in planning proposals that are eligible and closely aligned with the AHP Program's expectations while reducing the risk of submitting proposals based on misunderstandings or uncertainties.
