Merit Appeals Board
Purpose: To hear and decide appeals relating to the following: Recruitment and examination; Classification and reclassification of a particular position; Initial pricing of classes; and other employment actions, including disciplinary actions for failure of the employees to meet performance requirement. Note: Employees, as the term is used here, refers to those employees who are not covered by a collective bargaining agreement.)
Shall appoint and may at pleasure remove the Director of Human Resources.
Statements from the Public: Submitting Written Testimony: The Board encourages the public to submit thoughts, comments, and input via written testimony. To ensure timely delivery to Board Members prior to the meeting, written testimony must be submitted before 12: 00 noon the business day prior to the meeting by:
