Oral Testimony via Zoom videoconference:

The County Council also offers the ability to provide oral public testimony remotely via Zoom.  In order to provide oral testimony via Zoom, please email councilremotetestimony@hawaiicounty.gov or call (808) 961-8255 to complete the registration process and obtain meeting login information.   Please contact our office no later than 12:00 p.m. on the business day preceding the meeting.

Written Public Testimony

The deadline for submission of written public testimony is before 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the meeting. The Office of the County Clerk will accept receipt of your written public testimony:

Please submit separate written public testimony for each agenda item.

Written Public Testimony Submitted Past Deadline

If the deadline for submitting written public testimony is missed, the testimony will not be received by council members prior to the meeting.  However, the testimony will continue to be scanned throughout the meeting and placed in a public folder created specific to the committee or council meeting and provided via a link in the County Calendar at https://www.hawaiicounty.gov/our-county/county-calendar

After the meeting(s), the public folder will remain available for viewing until the testimony is numbered and processed as an official communication on the public record.  All testimony received will be made a part of the public record.

The Office of the County Clerk reserves the right to refuse testimony containing inappropriate content or that is not in compliance with Council Rule 12 (Public Statements and Testimony).
